Summer Camps

Our horsemanship summer camps are for children ages 7 and up. Horse camp is four days in length and runs from 8 am to noon, Monday thru Thursday. Horse camp at promenade stables is a time to learn about horsemanship and have quality riding time. It allows you to connect with the horse and improve your riding and ground work skills.

Open Registration for 2020 4- day summer camps:

June 1st – 4th June 15th – 18th June 22 – 28th

July 6th – 9th July 13th – 16th July 20th – 23rd

8 am-noon $350 for each 4-day camp Ages 7 and up

This camp is for beginners and continuing classes. Learn to ride or come and work on advancing skills.

 

Open Registration for 2-Day summer camps:

June 8th & 9th June 10th & 11th July 1st & 2nd July 27th & 28th

8 am-noon $185 for each 2-day camp Ages 7 and up

This camp is to let you try us out with an introduction to what is learned in the 4-day camps.

 

Open Registration for 2-Day Lead Line Camps:

June 29th & 30th July 29th & 30th

9 to 11 am $125 for each 2-day camp Ages 3 to 6

This camp is for the young ones and an adult participates with them. Learn safety, grooming, riding basics.

 

We hold Thanksgiving break, Christmas break and spring break camps. These are also for ages 7 and up. The winter camps are from 9 am to noon.

What to Bring

Please send plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen with your child. Those staying for the entire day need to bring their lunch. Have your child dress in long pants and a tuck in shirt. Boots or some type of shoe with a heel is recommended but not necessary, tennis shoes are ok for the first week. A jacket may be needed the first hour or in the beginning of June. We provide helmets but if you child has a helmet please bring.
